For many of us, that is how we were taught.

But it also came with pressure. Too much of one spice could throw everything off. Too little of another could leave the dish flat. And for everyday cooking, it could feel like a lot.

That is what made me pause.

Because when you look deeper, traditional cooking was never meant to feel complicated.

Why Masalas and Spice Blends Exist?

Long before modern kitchens, masalas were created for a reason. Not to simplify culture. But to preserve balance.
